Packing

Packing

There are 1000’s of packing lists to browse online for inspiration.

The most important thing is to bring lightweight comfortable clothes suitable for the heat.

I would recommend beach clothes, a cover up, long linen styles for temple visits and to remember your swimwear!

But don’t worry if there is something you forget, there is a high chance you can pick it up out there for a very reasonable price.

For the wedding:

Please feel free to wear what you are comfortable in, regardless of what colour it is. Most sundresses come in white adjacent colours and it is a great colour for the heat.

We will be dressing quite formally for the ceremony and changing into something a bit more comfortable and sparkly for the reception.

Anyone who is hoping to wear a suit, there are many tailors who will be able to knock one up for you in a day or two in Phuket.

Due to how it falls on the calendar, it does also happen to be Halloween. We would happily encourage anyone to dress up if they would like. We will be in costume after dinner is finished!

Extras

It would be useful to have a travel adapter, you can pick them up in the airport or online. Also, any of your common use devices and chargers.

It is a long flight, bring something to wrap around you, some headphones, download some media, just in case there is nothing that suits on the long list the flight offers.

Bring any medications you need, even a mini first aid kit with some plasters, rehydration electrolytes etc. You can also pick these up quite easily over there.
